I made a new friend during my Teller Training School and her and I went to the mall last weekend! It was really fun. The mall isn't as huge as the malls we are used to in the States, but it was certainly mall-esque. It even has a Starbucks, a real Starbucks! That was the best Vanilla Latte I have had in a loooong time! The mall is right down the street from where we live but I just hadn't ventured over there until now. Overall, it was a great day. We took my car and parked in the parking garage. We were there for almost 4 hours but we only had to pay 1.50 Euro for parking (which is a bargain in downtown Wiesbaden - it's a pretty ritzy area). We got a nice, wide parking spot right by the entrance (large parking spots are a commodity in Europe). And, neither of us went over our shopping budget but we both found a few things we really liked. There is even a T-mobile store in the mall and I was able to get a cell phone charger for Tom, for his car.
Our little excursion to the mall made me very happy - it's the little things that remind me of home. Just hanging out, shopping and sipping some good coffee :)

Sarah-
I just got done reading all your postings. It is so much fun to travel along with you as you experience life in Germany. I like all the details you include in your writing. We miss you bunches over here at Williams & Olds. Keep journaling!
